Kamryn Scrivens
Kamryn Scrivens joined the FOX 29 team as a Digital Content Creator in September 2023.
Though she was born in New York, she grew up in a very small town in the Pocono Mountains.
Before joining FOX 29, Kamryn graduated from Temple University with a B.A. degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Spanish.
During her time as a Temple owl, she was a two-time intern for NBCUniversal’s TODAY show and Weekend TODAY show where in the midst of a pandemic, she learned to pivot with society and helped gather research and assist in producing celebrity and non-celebrity interviews and segments with on-air talent.While at Temple, Kamryn also interned for PHL17 Morning News and eventually began to hone her social media copywriting and blog post skills at the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM).
From hard news, to news in STEM, Kamryn’s true passion for entertainment news brought her to NBCUniversal’s E! News & E! Entertainment. Upon flipping her tassel, she went from Philadelphia to Los Angeles where she worked as a New Media Programming Coordinator and Digital Content Producer for E! News.
She now creates stories and videos seen on FOX29.com, the Philadelphia section of the FOX LOCAL mobile and CTV apps, the FOX 29 Philadelphia FAST channel streaming schedule and FOX 29 social media accounts.
At FOX 29, Kamryn was able to fuse her love for the digital space with entertainment news. With the launch of ‘FOX 29 Behind the News’ with Bill Anderson on weekdays at 4 p.m. where ‘Kam’s Korner' was created. During Kam’s Korner, Kamryn and Bill talk about the latest news in entertainment.
In addition to Kam’s Korner, with the re-launch of Good Day Philadelphia Weekend, ‘The Chat with Kam’ was born. You can join ‘The Chat with Kam’ every Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m., to get the latest in pop-culture, movies, TV and all things entertainment.
Fun facts: Kamryn’s favorite color is rose gold, she is a pescatarian and she knows way too much about the Kardashians and the Real Housewives.

Norristown Police Chief Jacqueline Bailey-Davis has resigned effective immediately. The news comes just shy of her one-year work-anniversary as she had served in the position since January 2, 2024.
