2008 Phillies championship team to be honored before game

Ten years ago, the Philadelphia Phillies won the World Series. On Sunday, the 2008 team behind the championship victory will be honored at Citizens Bank Park.

The celebration is part of the Toyota Phillies Alumni Weekend.

The 2008 championship team will be honored at 1 p.m. Sunday ahead of the Phillies game against the Miami Marlins.

More than two dozen members of the 2008 team, alongside several Phillies Hall of Famers, are expected to attend.
