PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The Philadelphia Eagles are getting back one of the heroes of Super Bowl LII just in time for the start of the regular season.
Defensive end Brandon Graham was activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list Monday.
The team's medical staff has cleared Graham to begin practicing this week after he had spent part of the offseason recovering an ankle injury he was able to play through late last season. The team has not yet said if Graham will be playing in the team's first regular season game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Graham, a veteran leader on a vaunted Eagles defensive line was responsible for a strip sack in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LII that helped bring the team their first-ever Lombardi Trophy.
Last season, Graham recorded a career-high 9.5 sacks in 15 games.
