Eagles extend Lane Johnson
PHILADELPHIA- WTXF - The Eagles continued their spate of contract extensions for their own players Friday, signing offensive tackle Lane Johnson to a deal that will keep him in green through 2021.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed in the Eagles' announcement, although FOX 29's Howard Eskin reports that the deal could earn the tackle as much as $63 million over six years, and contains a $10 million signing bonus.
The Eagles held a press conference with Johnson Friday afternoon.
Johnson came to the Eagles as the fourth overall pick in the 2013 draft, the first player drafted under former coach Chip Kelly.
The extension follows new deals handed out earlier to tight ends Zach Ertz and Brent Celek.
