Flyers' star Gostisbehere honors wounded officer with custom jersey
FOLCROFT, PA- One of the Philadelphia Flyers brightest young stars took himself out of the sports world into the real world to honor a local hero.
Shayne Gostisbehere did something really nice yesterday for a local police officer who was shot in the line of duty last week.
Ghost payed a surprise visit to the wounded police office from Folcroft, Christopher Dorman. The Flyer came bearing gifts, including a number 63 Flyers jersey to identify his being a member of the 63rd police district in Folcroft, PA.
Officer Dorman continues to recover after he was shot seven times last week while responding to a call for drug activity.
