PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Philadelphia's sports teams have all had their fair share of high-profile additions in recent weeks, but the Sixers have made, by far, the most adorable addition.
Sixers center Joel Embiid unveiled the newest addition to his family last night; a golden doodle named 'Klaus Hinkie De Paula Embiid.'
Embiid and his girlfriend, model Anne De Paula, adopted Klaus over the weekend.
The first post on Klaus' Instagram profile reveals that his first name came from the couple's favorite character in the "Vampire Diaries" the "The Originals."
His middle name, Hinkie, pays homage to former Philadelphia 76ers general manager Sam Hinkie.
