Jon Gruden Not Interested in Eagles Job

PHILADELPHIA- WTXF - As Jon Gruden was an Eagles assistant for a time in the 1990s, his name has often come up whenever the Birds have had a head coaching opening, or the possibility of one.

However, despite some rumors earlier this week, Gruden is not currently pursuing the Eagles head coaching job. That's according to a tweet by FOX 29's Howard Eskin:

Gruden, who coached the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl win after the 2002 season, has worked as a broadcaster on ESPN's Monday Night Football since 2009. His brother, Jay Gruden, is the head coach of the Washington Redskins.
