Super Bowls lead to babies, NFL commercial suggests

Does a city's team winning a Super Bowl lead to a baby boom nine months later? A new music video released by the NFL, along with musician Seal, suggests that it does- and introduces us to groups of "babies" supposedly conceived following several recent Super Bowl victories.

The three-minute video, released Monday as part of the kickoff of Super Bowl week, says that "data suggests 9 months after a Super Bowl victory, winning cities see a rise in births." And while the commercial does not provide a citation for that statistic, it does show us some cute children- and slightly older people- whose births are supposedly the result of their team having won the big game.

We see fans of the Giants, Steelers, Colts, Seahawks, 49ers, and other teams, singing a version of Seal's early '90s hit "Kiss From a Rose"- and then Seal himself shows up.

Here's the video:

Super Bowl 50, between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos, will be played Sunday.
