FEMA 'strike teams' coming to Pennsylvania hospitals to help with COVID-19 surge

As COVID cases continue to rise so does the pressure on local hospitals being pushed to capacity. On Tuesday, the Pennsylvania Department of Health announced "strike teams" of medical professionals will be on their way to community hospitals across the state to help alleviate staffing and capacity issues. 

COVID testing brings long lines to area sites

It’s another day of record lines at COVID testing sites all across our area.  In Philly, hundreds of people were turned away from a mobile testing unit on Cottman Avenue.

CDC shortens COVID-19 quarantine recommendation to 5 days

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention officials said the guidance is in keeping with growing evidence that people with the coronavirus are most infectious in the two days before and three days after symptoms develop.
