Hawaii-bound flight diverted to LAX after dispute over cost of blanket

A Hawaiian Airlines jetliner on a flight from Las Vegas to Honolulu was diverted to Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday after a passenger became involved in a dispute with a flight attendant over the prospect of being charged $12 for a blanket, authorities said.

There’s more SEPTA travel trouble, this time on S. Broad Street and the subway line. A person has been hit by a Broad St. Subway train at Tasker, and SEPTA suspended subway service at the Walnut-Locust station in Center City. It’s offering shuttle buses for commuters all the way south.

The Dutch town of Bodegraven is trying to make sure cell phone users don't get killed walking across the street. The town has installed special lights that are embedded in the pavement at the curbs. Green means go, and red means stop. The lights are easily visible if you're slumped over a cell phone.
