Tornadoes and severe weather left catastrophic destruction and multiple deaths in several states, including Kentucky where dozens are feared dead. Here is a look at where the storms hit across the U.S. late Friday.

A group of Texans who were out on a hunting trip in Tennessee Friday night found themselves in a tornado's path.

“FedEx Express experienced substantial disruptions at the Memphis hub last night due to severe thunderstorms,” the company said on its website.

A tornado that ripped through a candle factory in Mayfield, Kentucky, where dozens are still feared dead, touched down for more than 200 miles late Friday, the governor said.
