8 injured after SEPTA trolley, school bus accident

KINGSESSING (WTXF) - Crews were on the scene of an accident Wednesday morning after a SEPTA Route 11 trolley and school bus collided.

The accident took place at 57th and Woodland when the bus reportedly pulled out in front of the trolley, then making contact with the bus.

SEPTA says eight people have been injured, with seven attributed to the trolley and one attributed to the school bus.

Shuttle buses are now being used between 49th and 58th Streets, per SEPTA.
