West Chester University cancels classes as manhunt for escaped convict continues

West Chester University canceled classes Friday as authorities continue to search for convicted murder Danelo Cavalcante, who escaped a nearby prison Thursday morning. The 34-year-old Brazilian was sentenced to life in prison for the 2021 stabbing death of his former girlfriend whom he killed in front of her two children.
