Officer wounded in Northeast Philadelphia shooting released from hospital

One of three Philadelphia police officers who were ambushed by gunfire while responding to a shooting Wednesday in Northeast Philadelphia was released from the hospital. Two other officers remain hospitalized with injuries that are said to be non-life-threatening. The suspect, a 42-year-old man, was shot and killed during the gunfight.
