The 215: Level Up Philly, Down Home Pizza, Philly Goat Project, FathersRead365, Daniel Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jistu
On this episode of "The 215," we take a look at the places around our area that are helping make the community a better place. A pastor started Level Up Philly as a safe place for kids from all over the city to hang out, get a hot meal and stay safe. Down Home Pizza looks to hire formerly incarcerated people and give them a second chance. The Philly Goat Project is a non-profit that helps raise goats in the city and creates free programming for kids. Two dads work together to raise awareness for reading in schools through their program FathersRead365 and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu studio provides a safe atmosphere for kids to work on their skills and keep themselves safe.
