Homicides in Philadelphia hit 9-year monthly low: report
A Philadelphia Inquirer report found that there were fewer homicides in Philadelphia in September 2024 than any month in the previous 9 years. There have been 200 homicides so far in 2024, a 41% drop from this time last year, according to data from the Philadelphia Police Department.
