Masks won’t be required in New Jersey schools when new year starts

Masks will not be mandatory in New Jersey’s schools in the upcoming academic year, Gov. Phil Murphy said Monday. The relaxed mandate comes as New Jersey continues to outpace much of the country in vaccinations.
