
Philly school district doubles monetary incentive for parents to drive students to school
Amid a shortage of bus drivers, the School District of Philadelphia is offering $300 per month to families who drive their children to school. The district says families can collect $150 per month if they take their children to school in the morning and use bus or cab service in the afternoon.
