PHILADELPHIA - Rain will persist into the overnight, and heavy, at times, until the Monday morning commute. Showers will linger throughout the morning and into the afternoon. The Poconos will see some snow showers, as well.
Temperatures stay in the 40s Monday, but may feel even chillier, thanks to the wind and rain in the forecast.
Looking ahead to Monday evening, you have a shot at clear enough skies between 6 and 8 Monday evening to see a rocket fly into space! The rocket is launching from NASA's Wallops Island Flight Facility in Virginia. It'll look like a moving star. The launch time is TBD, but it's scheduled to lift off between 6 and 8 p.m. You can find more information, here.
For the early part of the week, Tuesday will see partly cloudy and breezy conditions, with highs in the mid-40s.
Wednesday will see another system move in, bringing wet snow in the morning, but changing over to rain by the afternoon. The best chance of accumulating snow is in the north and west of Philadelphia, especially in the Lehigh Valley and into the Poconos.
