Weather Authority: Comfortable Tuesday night gives way to Wednesday heat and thunderstorms

FOX 29 Weather Authority 7-day forecast 10 p.m.

Kathy Orr updates the FOX 29 Weather Authority seven-day forecast, providing a look into Wednesday's heat and storms, as well as a look at the Memorial Day weekend forecast.

Tuesday was a beautiful, late spring day, with a high in Philadelphia of 74, and mid to lower 70s ruled the region.

FOX 29’s Kathy Orr says Tuesday night will be nice, with lows dipping to the mid 60s.

Wednesday will see a drastic change with hot temperatures near 90, aside from the shore, and humid conditions. The region could see some thunderstorms in the afternoon, some of which could be severe. The storm chances could run into the late night hours, so be on the watch for thunderstorms.

The holiday weekend will see temperatures 10 to 15 degrees below normal and there are rain chances Friday into Saturday morning.

Sunday and Monday look much better with temperatures in the 70s and sunny skies.
