Weather Authority: Fourth of July morning forecast
Hot and humid day with a few showers possible throughout the day.
PHILADELPHIA - Monday night's storm are lingering in the Delaware Valley as the region gets ready to celebrate Independence Day!
FOX 29's Scott Williams says to expect another hot and humid day in his Fourth of July forecast, with pop-up storms possible later this afternoon.
Most of the day will be a mix of sun and clouds as temperatures reach a high of 88 degrees.
Rain showers and thunderstorms could roll in during the hottest part of the day 1 to 6 p.m. However, they will be few and far between.

Looking ahead, the entire region is on the bring of its first heat wave this summer with temperatures hitting a high of 90 or above Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
