PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Rain and snow is moving into the area ahead of bitter cold temperatures.
The snow will taper off around midnight Tuesday. Philadelphia will see between 1-2 inches of snow, with higher accumulation expected in the north and west.
A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect from 4 p.m. through midnight for several counties in the area.

The brutal cold moves in Wednesday morning, with temperatures in the teens and single digits.
On Thursday morning, the area will see the coldest temperatures so far this winter. Temperatures in Allentown will feel like -16 degrees, and it will feel like -8 degrees in Philadelphia.
