When will Philly see its first snowfall? Here's the average first day of snow
PHILADELPHIA - It's been feeling like winter for weeks, but Philadelphia has yet to see any of the white stuff!
So, when is the average first day of snow for the city and its surrounding area?
FOX 29's Kathy Orr says the snow typically starts to fall around December 20, which is just days away!
However, Philadelphia didn't see its first snowfall until January 6 last year.
And with no snow in the immediate forecast, it looks like we're on the same path this year.
That includes no "White Christmas," with temperatures set to reach 46 degrees for a merry and bright Christmas Day.
Are you ready for the first snowfall of the year, or are you happy with a snow-free winter?
