Good Day taste tests healthier snack options for kids

September is National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month.

The condition affects nearly one in three children, between the ages of two through 19. It also puts them at greater risk for Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease.

For these reasons, many parents try to prioritize making healthy choices when it comes to their kids.

Stefanie Weiner, a clinical dietitian at CHOP, joined Good Day on Wednesday to show off some "healthy snack" alternatives that she says kids actually enjoy.

We'll leave it to our taste testers to see if Weiner's claims hold up!
