1 Killed in West Philadelphia Shooting Overnight

A shooting in West Philadelphia leaves one person dead, according to police.

The shooting happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday morning, along the 800 block of North 49th street.

Police say a 20-year-old man was shot several times.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators say they found drugs at the scene, but so far, no arrests have been made.
