3 arrested after double shooting on front lawn left teen girl hospitalized in Philly: police

Three people are in custody after police say a shooting in Philadelphia’s Oxford Circle neighborhood left two people hospitalized Monday afternoon. 

According to Philadelphia police, a double shooting occurred on the front lawn of a residence located on the 6300 block of Horrocks Street at around 3:35 p.m. 

They say a 28-year-old man was shot once in his right shoulder and once in his chest. He was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital by medics and is currently in stable condition. 

Police say the second victim, a 17-year-old girl, sustained a graze wound to her left leg and was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital by police, where she is also in stable condition.
