5 taken to hospital following house fire in Upper Darby

Three people were pulled from a burning home in Upper Darby after two others jumped from the second floor to escape the flames.

The fire broke out inside a home on North Carol Boulevard around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Neighbors tell FOX 29 two adults jumped from a second-story window to escape the flames before firefighters arrived on the scene.

Three other people were unconscious when they were pulled from the home by first responders. A total of five people were taken to local hospitals. Their conditions are not known at this time.
