Boy delivers toys to patients at CHOP
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A young boy's Christmas wish is now fulfilled . Karyn Wire says her 8-year-old son Justin wanted to deliver toys to patients at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Today, Justin got to see his dream come true when he delivered a van full of gifts with his family. Justin is a patient at CHOP himself and has an inoperable benign brain tumor. With the help of his mom, he created a toy drive in honor of Giving Tuesday.
Donations poured in and they filled up eight large bins of toys and crafts.
He was diagnosed with the tumor this summer and he goes back to CHOP for MRI scans.
