Couple livestreams birth on Facebook

CALIFORNIA (WTXF) A proud father used Facebook Live to document his wife giving birth to their son.

Fakamalo Kihe Eiki, of California, filmed the birth on Monday May 16. So far, the video has garnered close to 5,000 views. The mother, who is not named, doesn't seem to the mind the livestream of the usual private moment.

The caption of the video posted on the father's Facebook page simply reads, "Let's try pushing baby out" and is 45 minutes and 39 seconds long.

Once the baby is delivered, Fakamalo is heard saying," 'He's hairy, he's got so much hair!'"

Shortly after the video was posted, the father commented, " Thanks guys for enjoying the gift of life with me... lol come celebrate next weekend bbq if in area..."

No word on the baby's name. Congrats to the happy parents!
