7 displaced after large fire at building in Collegeville: officials

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Fire crews are battling a blaze at a building in Collegeville Tuesday afternoon.

SKYFOX was over the scene of the fire at what appears to be a large house in the area of 4th Ave and Main Street. 

What we know:

Officials say the fire broke out shortly after noon on the 400 block of E Main Street. 

The fire is currently under control.

Unfortunately, seven people have been displaced as a result of the large blaze, officials say.

Main Street was closed from 3rd to 5th Avenue but was reopened at 4:45.

Officials are asking people to avoid the area if possible. 

What's next:

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
