Man arraigned on charges in fatal shooting at Camden funeral home
CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) -- A judge has maintained the $1 million cash bail set for a man charged in the shooting death of his cousin outside a Camden funeral home this month.
The decision came Monday as 31-year-old Camden resident Victor Rodriguez was arraigned on a charge of being an accomplice in the murder of 22-year-old Jonathan Vasquez. Authorities say the person who shot Vasquez remains at large.
Camden County prosecutors say relatives told them the two men had been involved in an on-going dispute. But authorities say it's not clear if that's what sparked the shooting.
Vasquez was shot several times Thursday night at the May Funeral Home. He was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later.
Rodriguez didn't enter a plea at the hearing. It's not known if he's retained an attorney.
