Man critically injured after falling 30 feet from I-95 ramp in Chinatown

CHINATOWN (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a man fell 30 feet from the I-95 ramp in Chinatown overnight.

When officers arrived on the scene near North 8th and Vine Streets, they found an 18-year-old on the ground bleeding from the head.

The victim was transported to the hospital, where it was determined he suffered a severe head injury from a fall.

Police say the victim was on the I-95 overpass 30 feet above when he and two others had car trouble and exited their vehicle. According to police, the victim may have been intoxicated when he fell.

The victim remains hospitalized in critical condition.

This is an ongoing investigation.
