Man dies after being ejected from car, run over on Roosevelt Expressway

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A 31-year-old man who was run over on the Roosevelt Expressway Sunday morning after being ejected from his car has died, according to police.

The multi-vehicle crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Route 1 from I-76 West.

Police say the impact of the crash ejected the victim from his car. He was then struck by another vehicle that was traveling behind him.

The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No other injuries have been reported.
