Pennsylvania man sentenced for repeatedly raping girl for 9 years
WEST CHESTER, Pa. - A disturbing case of child sex abuse in Chester County has come to a close as a convicted rapist was placed behind bars last week.
What we know:
Lucino OchoaMena, 41, was sentenced to 40–80 years in prison for raping a girl from the time she was 5 years old until she was 14 years old.
The backstory:
Officials say evidence revealed that OchoaMena would sexually assault the victim whenever they were alone, over the span of approximately 9 years.
"Thanks to the courage of a child and great work by investigators, this dangerous predator received a de facto life sentence," West Chester Police Chief Joshua Lee said.
A jury convicted OchoaMena of 14 criminal charges, including rape, during a 4-day trial in June 2024. He was sentenced by a judge on January 20, 2025.
