Police investigate possible abduction in Hunting Park
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) Philadelphia police say they are investigating a possible abduction in the city's Hunting Park section.
Police say on Friday, April 8 at around 8:45 a.m., officers responded to a report of abduction in progress at 900 W. Luzerne Street. Police say witnesses stated they observed a male force a female into a green Toyota Camry with a partial PA tag KBL137 who fled west on Luzerne Street.
According to a witness account, around the time the incident was reported she heard a female screaming 'Get away from me'; 'I'm not going with you' and a male screaming at the female. Investigators say the female was crying and got into the car. As the male walked around to get in the driver's side of the vehicle the female got out and began walking away, according to police. Authorities say the male followed her in the car and after a physical confrontation, forced the female into the vehicle and fled.
Police describe the woman as a black female, approximately mid to late 20 years of age, wearing a blue denim jacket, fitted t-shirt, carrying a light colored tote sized pocket book, jeans and pink sneakers. Police describe the man as a black male, approximately 20-25 years of age, medium complexion, short hair, thin build, wearing a dark jacket, operating a Toyota Camry, green in color bearing a partial PA tag of KBL137.
