Police: Man shot during robbery in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WTXF) - Police are investigating after they say a man was shot during a robbery in Kensington overnight.

Around 2:30 a.m., officers responded to East Westmoreland and Rorer Streets, where a 42-year-old man was suffering from two gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley reports the victim was allegedly robbed of his phone by a crew in a white BMW with white rims.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
