Police search for suspect in shooting near City Hall

Philadelphia (WTXF) The police are looking for a suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred on January 21 st near City Hall.

At 10:55 pm, the police received a radio call about a shooting in the 15 th street and Chestnut area. Police arrived to discover a 31-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the northwest corner of 15 th and Chestnut. The man is said to have wounds in the back and in his left arm. He was transferred to Jefferson University Hospital where his wounds were treated.

Surveillance cameras at the scene of the crime reveal the suspect shooting the victim with a handgun and then fleeing the scene.

The suspect is said to be a six foot black male, between the ages of 35 and 45, with a light beard. The video depicts him wearing a dark jacket over a light color hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants, dark shoes, and a black mask.
