Police: Woman, 72, hit by stray bullet inside Southwest Philly home

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are investigating after an elderly woman was struck by a stray bullet overnight in Southwest Philadelphia.

Police say the bullet flew through the window of the woman's home on the 7100 block of Brant Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Monday.

The woman, 72, is in stable condition at Penn Presbyterian Hospital after being struck in the leg.

No arrests have been made at this time.
