Police: Woman pushing stroller struck, killed by SEPTA bus
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - "It's very upsetting," said Captain Ray Convery with Philadelphia Police.
Police say it happened at 23rd and Chestnut Street just after 5 o'clock. The 64-year-old woman was killed. The baby who police say is between 6 and 8 months old miraculously wasn't hurt.
"It appears that she was close to the crosswalk. We're not exactly sure yet that's what the accident investigation will determine on where she was first struck and obviously where she landed," said Captain Convery.
