Have you had the same job for 5 or 10 years? How about 47 years? Well, one Pennsylvania man did and his send off just before retirement was one to remember.

The entire Radnor Middle School community in Wayne gathered outside of the school to say goodbye to Michael 'Mickey' Fitzgerald" on his final bike ride home After 47 years working in the school's kitchen.

Fitzgerald started working and biking to work at Radnor Middle School in 1971 immediately after graduating from Radnor High School

"I never dreamed I would come to my alma mater and work for my alma mater. It felt really good," he said.

On Wednesday, the community surprised him with two new tires, a saddle bag and a travel fix-it-kit all for his big move to California.
