School lockdowns lifted after shooting in North Philadelphia

Several schools in North Philadelphia were placed on lockdown Monday morning following a shooting. The lockdowns have since been lifted.

Central High School, Girls, High School, Howe School and Widener School were all placed on lockdown following the incident.

The shooting occurred near Broad Street and Olney Avenue.

Police say a 42-year-old man was shot once in the leg, and walked to Einstein Medical Center. He was placed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and no weapon was recovered.
