Schools delayed in Philadelphia area day after snow storm hits region
PHILADELPHIA - Several schools are opening late Tuesday following the first significant snowfall to hit the region this winter, dumping a foot of snow on some places on Monday.
The delays, along with a couple of cancelations, come after dozens of schools across the region closed for the day ahead of the winter storm.
No snow is expected Tuesday, but winter cleanup is still underway in several counties in the Philadelphia area.
