(FOX NEWS) The family of a boy with dwarfism is sharing a heartwarming story of the incredible bond forged between their son and his newly-adopted dog.

Quaden Bayles suffers from achondroplasia - the most common form of dwarfism - but his spirits have been lifted immeasurably by Buddy, a 9-year-old shih tzu who suffers from the same condition.

The Brisbane, Australia family says Buddy has helped 5-year-old Quayden deal with his condition and with the recent passing of his grandfather.
