Workers in Indiana allegedly told to vote Trump
GOSHEN, IN - Workers at a Goshen company got an unexpected letter from the boss with their paychecks and paystubs Friday.
Multiple people connected with Triangle Rubber and Plastics contacted their local news station about this letter... it's from the company's CEO. It encourages workers to vote for Donald Trump based on his anti-abortion stance. It also tells them to pray.
The station spoke with an employee about it who did not want us to reveal his identity for fear of retribution.
A reporter tried to reach Paul Gerwels, the Triangle CEO who wrote the letter; messages left for him at work have not yet been returned. They were not able to reach him at home.
However, according to the non-profit group, "Workplace Fairness," there are no federal laws against employers doing what they can to convince their employees to vote a certain way, as a result of the Citizens United Supreme Court decision.
