Light snow falls overnight, some schools delay opening
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTXF) - A winter weather remains in effect for parts of our area after we saw our second snowfall of the season overnight into Thursday morning. Some area schools delayed opening following the snow.
Wednesday got off to a bitter cold start and may come to a snowy end as parts of our area saw snow late into evening.
Police asked motorists to slow down as the snow created slick conditions on highways, which were chilled by temperatures below freezing. Plows were working to clear snow-covered roads.
Accumulations ranged from around an inch or two in the Philadelphia area.
