Weather Authority: First weekend of fall will feel like summer

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Fall is finally here, but it won't exactly feel like it quite yet as the summery temperatures hang around through the weekend and into next week.

Expect plenty of sun for our first few days of the new season as temperatures hover in the mid to high 80s through the weekend and into Monday. Friday will bring a high of 83 with plenty of sunshine.

The Eagles will need to stay hydrated for their home opener against the New York Giants on Sunday with a high of 90.

The next real chance of rain isn't expected until around Tuesday, when temperatures will likely begin to cool off, at least for the time being.
