1 in a million: Rare set of identical triplets
NEW YORK - A rare set of identical triplets was born in Kansas City.
The babies named Ron, Elkanah and Abishai were born six weeks premature but were in good health. Identical triplets are called a one-in-a-million occurrence.
Nicole and Caleb Choge said fortunately, all three boys were growing in separate amniotic sacs which reduced the risk for some complications.
Nicole actually delivered all three using natural childbirth.
The couple already have a two year old son. They say the first thing they're going to have to do is get a bigger car.
A family friend has set up a GoFundMe page to help the family.
