3-year-old boy trapped under lawnmower, killed

WEBSTER, N .Y. (WTXF) - A lawnmower accident involving a toddler in upstate New York turned deadly.

Police said they responded to frantic calls about a three-year-old boy trapped under a riding lawnmower in the backyard of a Rochester-area home.

They said a family member was operating the rider at the time, Saturday afternoon, but no details have been released.

The unidentified boy died at the scene.

The death is being ruled an accident, and nobody has been charged.
