Man caught on camera setting vehicles alight in Olney auto body shop

OLNEY (WTXF) - Police are searching for a man who was caught on surveillance video committing arson in Olney.

The incident occurred at Philmont Auto Body at 198 West Ashdale Street on September 19 at 5:00 a.m.

Police say the man poured available combustibles, which were inside the garage, on the vehicles and then applied an open flame to the poured liquid causing a fire to the business and vehicles.

The man then fled in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported.
