NJ Gov. Murphy vetoes tax incentive programs
TRENTON, N.J. - New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has vetoed an extension of two tax incentive programs.
The programs are the subject of a statewide investigation.
According to Gov. Murphy, the programs have continued "handouts to connected companies."
The governor's conditional veto returns the bill to the legislature with the recommendation to make the program work for everyone and not just those connected to government.
